OUR PROCESS

CHANGE THE WORLD BY CHANGING THE CYCLE

Reishore Clothing was started with the idea of a sustainable and closed-loop system. Each t-shirt is not only made from at least 10 recycled plastic bottles or similar amount of PET plastic waste, but Reishore gear is made to be recycled again and again. That’s at least 10 bottles not ending up in our landfills or waterways and old apparel being made back into new again.

Recycled plastic bottles and ocean waste is collected, sorted, and washed for processing

Bottles and waste are cleaned of wrappers and chopped and ground into small plastic flakes.

Flakes are rinsed and melted down into high quality polymer pellet chips.

Chips are melted down and extruded through tiny openings in a spinneret, creating continuous filaments that form fiber yarns.

Finished yarn goes into fabrics to be cut and sewn into quality Reishore products you know like t-shirts, beanies and sunglasses.
